Aura
The aura is the supposed luminous energetic field that surrounds the human body, claimed in theosophy (Helena Blavatsky, late 19th century) and modern esotericism. According to tradition, it has different colored layers, each one related to a level of being: physical (etheric), emotional, mental, spiritual. The Kirlian photography (Semyon Kirlian, 1939) was popularized as "aura capture", although it really captures atmospheric coronal discharge.
Aura colors and meanings
- Red — passion, vitality, anger.
- Orange — creativity, joy.
- Yellow — intellect.
- Green — healing, balance.
- Blue — communication, peace.
- Violet — spirituality.
- White/golden — high consciousness.
