Lilith
Lilith is a mythological female figure of ancient Mesopotamia (Sumerian "lilītu"), absorbed into Jewish tradition as first wife of Adam (Alphabet of Ben Sira, 8th-10th centuries), refused to be subordinate and was banished, becoming demon of the night. In modern astrology, Black Moon Lilith is a calculated point (apogee of the Moon's orbit), interpreted as the "wild feminine".
Lilith in modern astrology
Mean Black Moon Lilith is at the natal chart point opposite to the perigee of the Moon — a mathematical, not physical, point. Interpreted as place where the consultant rebels, where the wild psyche lives.
