Precognition
Precognition is the alleged paranormal ability to perceive future events before they happen. One of the four psi faculties investigated by Rhine. Manifests through dreams, intuitions, sudden visions. Different from prophecy: precognition is involuntary; prophecy is verbal pronouncement.
Studies
Bem (2011, Feeling the Future) published controversial studies suggesting backward time effects. Independent replications failed mostly. The scientific community considers the field unsettled.
