Seer
A seer is a person considered to have clairvoyant gifts — able to perceive what is hidden from the ordinary senses. Different from medium (channeler of spirits) and oracle (consulted at a specific place). The seer uses internal/intuitive gift, often along with cards, crystal ball, palm reading.
Famous seers
Mlle Lenormand (Napoleon), Cagliostro (18th century), Mother Shipton (16th century England), Jeane Dixon (1960s USA, claimed to predict the death of Kennedy). All controversial in terms of confirmed hits.
